Assalamualaikum, Salam Sejahtera and Kia Ora
Dear all students,
Welcome to November, everyone.
It’s the month of examinations. To all Malaysian students in New Zealand, do your best and strive for the best. Make yourself proud, and once that is achieved, you’ll make those who love you proud.
I believe that each and every Malaysian student who came here to New Zealand has a similarity of task and same sense of responsibility. Students are here to learn, and not to merely study. When they learn, they definitely are studying. But if it's just study, they might not learn. Learning is a beautiful quest. It makes us wiser and humble at the same time, knowing that we are still far away from perfection. Learning makes us cherish and consequently, respect other people and sources of where the knowledge comes. We might be dedicating our 100% of our focus while studying, and still, it won’t match the process of learning. Learning is a combination of pure intention to seek input, finding ways to collect ideas and input, strategising what is gained for the targeted outcomes and simply a motivation to keep going on and move forward to a betterment position. So, I’m advising myself and to all Malaysian students too, let’s be a learner, and from that there, we’ll be doing our best in our life.
To all Malaysian students, do develop your positive sense of success. Be passionate on what is good for you to groom yourselves as great learners. Be in a visible part of your university community through academic reputation and social contribution too. Actively involve yourselves in various activities and create your own sense of joy and inner peace. Treat yourself with a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. Effort is a key of success and a right measurement for satisfaction too. Try your best to put yourself in a position that you can positively possess.
For those whose studies will be completed in this month, we hope that you have enjoyed every bit of your quest of knowledge along the path of learners. It’s definitely sad for us at EMNZ to see you leave but rest assured, it’s for the best of you. May you have a great career life back in Malaysia and contribute your expertise to our nation.
As Spring season is finalising its term, let’s gear up for the summer next month.
