Building Bonds - April 2014

Posted on May 1, 2014 at 11:10 PM

Assalamualaikum, Salam Sejahtera and Kia Ora

Dear students

The fact that EMNZ is responsible to all Malaysian students in New Zealand, regardless their level of studies and whether they're sponsored or self sponsored, lead each of us to a great concept of togetherness, unity, mutuality and strong bonding. Throughout EMNZ schedules of meeting and visiting Malaysian students all over New Zealand, it's so mesmerising to see great relationships and positive bonding nurtured among Malaysian students. The opportunity of outreaching all students, be it the sponsored by different agencies and the self sponsored who come from every corner of Malaysia is indeed, a bless. Learning from each other, initiating cooperation and understanding, mutual respect and tones of efforts put in acknowledging everybody's existence are just a few of various positive environment that we're having now.

It is the responsibility of EMNZ to keep this on track, with lots of new ideas and initiatives that need to be prepared to ensure the sustainability of this achievement. What EMNZ would also encourage is, for each Malaysian student to embrace this concept beyond the graduation and when returning back to our beloved country Malaysia. I believe that this is one of the reasons why the Education Malaysia division at the Ministry of Education emphasis on how important it is to ensure the unity dan integration aspect is addressed whenever and wherever student-based activities are planned and conducted abroad. We encourage all Malaysian students to get to know each other, befriend with all Malaysians and reach out to those Malaysian students who happen to be outside their normal circle of sponsorship backgrounds. Together, we can make this as our signature strength here in New Zealand.

Have a great study years everyone. Make Malaysia proud in whatever you do.
